Being empathetic to our clients’ needs and goals, respectful of their time and resources. And then being empathetic to their target audiences—their needs, habits, and desires for authentic interactions. Industry be damned, we’re all human beings at our core. That’s why we don’t focus solely on one vertical—there is no one-size-fits-all solution. And if any marketers tell you they are “experts” in your field, then they’re full of shit. You’re the expert at what you do, and we are the experts at what we do. Together we can do great things.
Why should a piece of creative have to run up a chain of command, only for it to be diluted each step of the way only for bureaucracy to leave its thumbprint each step of the process? We believe in hiring the best-of-the-best, multi-disciplinary people to eliminate lengthy, bloated projects and allow brands to succeed in today’s fast-paced content creation world. Our team is made up of talented creatives who share varied skill sets amongst each other so we can react quickly to what’s happening out there. That means we don’t have just graphic designers, or just editors—each one can also shoot, design, animate…you get it.
One word, four syllables: trans-par-en-cy. Transparency around our strengths (and weaknesses), processes, expectations, anticipated challenges, cost estimates, time guesstimates, out-of-pocket expenses, and project statuses. We’re pretty damn good at hitting our (a lot of times shockingly truncated—just ask our hardworking team) timelines, but we’ll tell you if we can’t and why. We’ll let you know if any issue arises, and we’ll also give you a solution. We’re not trying to dodge you, and we’re definitely not trying to dry out your marketing budget either. But you also have to work with us here. In order for us all to be successful, you need to be our swim buddy in this pool of transparency—come on in, the water’s just fine.
“You are who you surround yourself with.” That may be something parents tell their teenagers as they quietly pray for them to develop friendships with the studious do-gooders, but it’s with valid reason. Engaging with potential co-workers, vendors, or even paying clients who do not adhere to the same standards of respect and honesty as we do is just not our jam. We pride ourselves on the values we hold closest to our hearts—both in our working and personal lives—and have exactly zero interest in lowering our bar just to raise the bottom line. It’s probably why the term “turnover” has never been in our vocabulary. At the end of the (long) day, we are grateful to love what we do, and we are downright lucky to do it with each other.
